Attention newbies - Reasons why your blog sucks (and how you can fix it).

Are you wondering why your blog isnt getting any traffic or why your not getting any comments, shares or responses to your blog, chances are it sucks and you need to do something about it. 

I'm made plenty of mistakes, and most of the time it's just good practice to learn the hard way but if you're wondering why you haven't got much traction from your new blog, there's a few possible reasons outlined below you may wish to consider. 

Heres a few reasons why your blog could suck, most of them are pretty simple and easy to fix:

• Your share buttons are hard to find or non-existent - big mistake. How can people share your blog or get any reach if you arent adding share buttons to your website. Easily fixed and sit back and watch your shares skyrocket. Add these and you'll notice an improvement.
• No social media links on your page - what are you thinking!? Add these in and improve your cross-channel marketing. Social network marketing is huge and you need to be across it. 
• Not enough imagery or none at all - just because you might like to keep things fairly scarce image-wise doesn't mean your audience likes it. Research shows that imagery interests your reader so add interesting images to support your blog that are relevant, whether they are your own, infographics or interesting stock ones add them in and check out the result. 
• You've left no room for comments - you NEED to have a comment section on your blog. This is a great way to engage with your audience and without this your blog will probably be lacking the interaction you're looking for. When you add the comment section, make sure you respond to each and every comment to create a community feel on your page. Also, ensure it is easy to leave a comment and readers don't need to jump through a million pages to do this. 
• Your theme is basic or non-existent - using a cool WordPress theme that you might spend 50 bucks on is more engaging and will engage with your audience. Take the time to set up a cool theme for your blog and update it regularly. Make sure the text is easy to read and your colours suit your audience
• Too many ads splashed all over your blog - while internet marketing is one thing having OTT amount of ads on your page is a turn off. Keep it lean and focus on a few ads that work for you, don't clutter your blog with huge amounts of ads it's just annoying to look at and takes away from the blog.
• It's hard to find your sign up boxes - you want people to sign up for your blog right? How easy is it for them to do this? Make it simple have good, clear CTAs so they can sign up for your blog easily. Sign up boxes on every page are essential on your blog, if you're worried test this and see the results.
• You've got little to no content strategy - don't just publish for publishing sake, have a plan about your posts and plan this in advance so you can engage with influencers and even guest posters ahead of time. Planning will allow you to be more organised and provide value for your key messages. 
• You have boring old content - content is king people. Keep it fresh on every page. Update your home, about and any other page you have on your blog with current info especially your bio. If you are looking to do advertising on your blog this info should be up to date and engaging for anyone that is checking out your site for marketing opportunities.

Everyone Wants To "Make Money On The Internet..."

Look, I get it.

You want to make some extra income. Things are tight. The economy is bad. Maybe you're unemployed. And if you're working, your company is asking more of you and paying you less. You're struggling to make ends meet.

I see dozens of questions from those new to the Internet every week.

It seems that the majority are under the impression that making money online is easy. And there are lots of "gurus" out there selling systems that might give you the impression in their sales copy that if you buy their thing the money will just come pouring in.

Now, while leverage and scaling are the way to build a successful business, any way you slice it, it's WORK. One of my mentors recently opined that the most successful people who made their livings online were more like factory workers going to work with a lunch pail.

It's not all limelight, easy money, and fast cars.

When I first started hanging out on Warrior Forum with absolutely no knowledge, I got a leg up from a lot of good people and I want to pay it forward.

So, I am going to GIVE you the million dollar information. I'm going to give you right here what people pay hundreds (and even thousands) of dollars for right here in the public forum in answer to your questions. If you want to make it online, this is the process. Period.


1. PICK A PROFITABLE NICHE. First: determine what interests you. It will be difficult to make money if you are just plodding along at something that doesn't interest you. That's what you do at work and that's the place you're trying to get AWAY from. So, don't just pick a niche because you think it will make you a lot of money. Pick a niche because it genuinely interests you. Make a list of your interests. THEN, consider how you can make money at them. To do this, go to Google and type in your hobby or passion. Say it's "golf" or "dogs" Whatever, type it into the search box. Look at the sponsored links above and to the right of the organic listings. People are paying money for those sponsored links. What are they selling? How are they profiting from the niche you're interested in? Can YOU make money in the same way? Are they selling a physical product? A service? What are they doing? Get your own creative juices flowing. HINT: If you put your hobby or passion in and there is very little in the sponsored links, then chances are it's not a big money-maker. You need to focus on a niche that can make you money. Otherwise, it's just a hobby or charity and not a business.


2. DEVELOP YOUR OWN PRODUCT. Okay, once you have picked your niche, create a product. You're going to create a 10 to 50 page report on the topic of your selected niche. Turn it into a .PDF. You MUST have a product. It may be your main product or it may be an entry product to get people onto your list. Don't overthink this. Get a product. Write it, have it written for you, get a PLR (private label rights) product. Whatever. Just get it done. You have one week. GO!


3. CREATE YOUR SALES COPY. You must develop a killer sales letter. Think back to the programs you have signed up for. Why did you sign up HERE? You read some awesome sales copy. It pushed your emotional hot buttons. Number one thing to do. If you want to be successful online, you NEED to know how to write killer sales copy that causes people to hit "BUY NOW!" This is even more important and technical than the creation of your product. Get it right and you will be successful. 


4. SET UP YOUR WEBSITE AND AUTOMATED SYSTEM. You need your squeeze page and setup in JVZoo, or Clickbank, or whatever affiliate platform you have chosen to use to handle the sales of your product. This might be a simple one item funnel, OR it might be an entire funnel with multiple upsells, one-time-offers, downsells, etc... Remember, the NUMBER ONE GOAL is NOT to make a sale, it's to GET THE CUSTOMER ON YOUR MAILING LIST!!! Do not lose sight of this. Your #1 goal is to build a HUGE mailing list of BUYERS. (NOTE: This is the technical part where people get stuck in the weeds. Don't get stuck. Power through it.)


5a. DEVELOP YOUR LIST OF AFFILIATES. You need affiliates to sell your product. Before your big launch, get as many affiliates on board and ready to promote your product to their mailing lists. Spend quality time focusing on getting AFFILIATES to drive MASSIVE traffic to your site!!! Use Muncheye.com, use your existing list, join membership groups, make phone calls, create fun contests, get the word out. 


5b. SEND MASSIVE, TARGETED, INEXPENSIVE TRAFFIC TO YOUR SITE. If you can't drive traffic to your offer, you're finished before you even get out of the gate. If you spend more for that traffic than you make selling your product you're losing money. You need an inexpensive system for getting red hot, ready-to-buy, targeted traffic. And you need LOTS of it... (Hint: Figure this out and you're golden!)

6. LAUNCH YOUR PRODUCT. On the appointed day....BLAST OFF!


7. DEVELOP BACK END PRODUCTS. THIS is where you make your money. You need a combination of low-ticket, medium-priced, and then HIGH TICKET items to sell your customers. So, maybe it's a $9.97 product > $17 product > $47 product > $197 product > $397 product > $1,997 product. Maybe somewhere in there is a membership site that's like $37 per month. This is called a "continuity program" and without it, you'll have a difficult time making a regular income online. (That alone was worth hundreds of dollars. I hope you picked up on that tidbit.)


8. CONTINUE STEPS 2 THROUGH 7. Over and over and over again. Maybe once per month or every two months. Build your sales funnel and build your LIST!!! (Remember the saying, "The money is in the list!")


9. MARKET TO YOUR LIST!!! Between launches of your own products, continue to market to your list. Provide them with a combination of high value free information that keeps them interested and engaged. At least 3 times per week send them a quality offer for a product that you believe in with your affiliate link. As your list grows, you will make more money from these mailings. So, you see you alternate between product CREATOR and AFFILIATE to promote others' products. Your willingness to reciprocate will create good will and help you in getting others to help with your own launches. In fact, your product's #1 job is to BUILD YOUR LIST. (Did I mention that your #1 marketing priority is building your list?)


10. BUILD FUNNEL AFTER FUNNEL AFTER FUNNEL! Okay, so once you have one successful sales funnel, go work on another one in a DIFFERENT niche. Or a different sub-niche. When you have several good funnels built your leads will be coming in on auto-pilot. It will take a minimum amount of effort to keep all of the balls spinning in the air. You will have attained SUCCESS!

Every battle is won or lost before it's ever fought.

Sun Tzu posits in his seminal work, The Art of War, that "Every battle is won or lost before it's ever fought." Can this be seen as being an accurate statement in many or most occasions?

It is true for some battles, perhaps many battles, but not for all battles.

What Sun Tzu has in mind is the great set-piece battles the were fought in China at the time, where huge armies would be lined up and then sent off to fight. The battle would go to whoever had prepared best, a combination of the best supplies, the best planning, the best intelligence, the best control of the ground, the best training, etc. The general wound things up and let them go.

But he oversimplifies. Many battles are closely balanced, and tiny changes have big effects. Hannibal would have lost the Battle of Geronium if his hidden reserves of troops had been discovered by any stray patrol. Agincourt might have gone the other way if it hadn't rained. Some say Napoleon would have won Waterloo if his hemorrhoids hadn't been acting up. The number of books that have been written about the ways the Allies could have lost D-Day would crash the server.

Good planning is crucial, but a battle is more like poker than like chess. You make your moves in ignorance, not only of your opponent's moves (as in chess) but of the myriad ways chance can intervene. A good hand can lose, or a bad hand win, even despite optimal play. The greatest general is the one who has planned for the most contingencies, but that doesn't mean the greatest general always wins.

One could say that the chance is all predetermined, but viewed that way, the entire thing was set in place five billion years ago and none of it is worth talking about. The fact is that you do not know these things, and the general has been tasked to win despite the ignorance.

Another thing has changed substantially since Sun Tzu's day is communications. At his time, the general had only minimal effect on the flow of battle because it moved faster than his runners. The process of getting new intelligence, deciding on it, and sending out orders was nearly useless. The general could go home and have a bath, and hear how it went after the fact.

Today, a battle is an active thing. The battle plan may not survive first contact with the enemy, but the general formulates a new plan instantly. The evolving plan is part of the plan, and is not set before the battle begins.

You must still heed Sun Tzu's advice. You have to have everything set up for that to happen. Reserves must be where they are most likely to do good. Communications must be set up so that they are reliable in the din of combat. The old necessities of holding some grounds and ceding others hold. You must still have intelligence so that you know your enemy better than he knows himself.

But it's not the only thing. Art of War is a good place to start, but it is not the only book you must read.

At the time in which he was writing and within the narrow scope he was referring, yes, I think he was accurate. However, Sun Szu's treatise is now often treated as wisdom that transcends the confines in which he wrote. And at times it may. However, I don't find much inspiration or motivation from such predetermined fatalism. James H. Kellycorrectly addresses the preparation that largely sways each "battle", mental or physical: either you are fully prepared or you are not. The intricate effect of preparation cannot be fully known. Sun Tzu is speaking to that preparation, yet missing the complexity. When I sit down at a chess board against a superior player, there is a high chance I will lose. But it is not determined, not yet. Blunders happen, moments of inspiration or clarity strike. Mostly, I lose. Occasionally, I surprise myself.

The caveat to this quote is the stuff of epic underdog movies: Rudy, Braveheart, 300, The Hunger Games, Slumdog Millionaire... we must believe that against all odds, against any predetermined, fatalistic destiny, the triumph of the will can shine through. The fight does indeed count.

Humbly, I would have phrased the quote more along the lines of "Whether you believe you will win or lose, you are right." The first and most important battle is in the mind. To externalize the result is a bit premature and can be defeating to even try. You may indeed lose the actual battle, but you first must take enough courage to step on the field and approach as one who will triumph.

Tired of all the crappy products that are on the internet that take more of your money and gives you nothing in return. 

I am tired of the people that keep saying that internet marketing doesn't work and think that every person who is selling on the internet is trying to scam them. 

Yes I am.

I know you are too. Maybe you are the struggling newbie who is trying to get started and you are overwhelmed with all of the information that is available online. 

Maybe you are the person who has been struggling to make it online. 

If this is you then I know that this post will help you to get started on the right track.

Now with this post the information that I will be sharing is nothing new. In fact it might be something that you have heard many times before from different people. This time I want you to really pay attention and lets get this internet marketing business thing handled once and for all. 

The first thing that you must understand about making money online is that it is not EASY! There I said it and I mean every single word of it. There is nothing easy about making money online unless you are doing spam methods which if you are then good for you. 

I am here to talk to the people who are ready to make real long term money online. 

The first thing that you need to understand is that you must bring more "Value" to the table. This goes for internet marketing and your life in general. The more value you can bring to the lives of the people that you come into contact with the more good things will happen in your life. 

I don't say that to sound woo woo, but it is something I've seen happen in my own life. The more that I actually give to the people around me the more good things start to happen in my life. 

Which brings me to my first point. The first rule when it comes to making money online is to put yourself last and always think about your customer first. I know right now you might be confused, but just trust me on this one it works. The truth is nobody that you will be selling to will care about anything that you are selling unless they can see how it will impact their lives. 

Nobody cares about you are your product until you can show them how it will affect their lives. This is the first part of internet marketing success. 

The next step is..

Choose A Method That Works

There are methods online that we know work. Too many times I see people getting caught up in trying to using different loopholes and all kinds of other things that will make them money. The problem with these kinds of methods is that they often get patched and your income can go to zero literally overnight. 

This is why you should build your business on a method that works in the beginning. 

Here is the basic formula to making money online:

Traffic----> Offer-----> Backend

This is how an internet marketing business functions underneath everything else that might be going on. This is how you build a successful business. 

The first part of the equation is the traffic. Traffic online refers to the people that come to your website or page. 

The next part is your offer. The offer is where you will make your money. Your offer should be something that offers value to the traffic that is coming to your site. 

Once you get them to your offer you pull them through your backend which is your funnel and the other things that you do to make them love you and keep buying from you for the rest of their lives. Or until they get annoyed with you and unsubscribe. 

The above structure is the basics of an online business and how to make money online. Often times too many people get caught up in the different methods when the only thing they need to be focusing on is the above formula. 

Stick To One Method

You would not believe how many people were on the verge of hitting big online and then they quit and went to the next best method online. There are lots of people that this happen to every single day. 

Its so easy online to switch and start doing something else. We don't have someone telling us what we can and can't do. The only problem with switching methods to quickly is that you stop yourself from getting the success that you desire. 

The people who've been able to make the most money online are the people that stuck to one things and saw it through till the bitter end.

Optimize And Scale 

Once you find something that is working the next thing that you want to do is scale and make even more money. You have tested you method and you know that it is something that works and you've been able to make it work consistently. The next thing is to make even more money. 

This is called scaling. When you scale you bring even more traffic to your offer and you begin to make more money. At this point you have to two option you can maintain this or you can try something else and go through the same process. 


I'll let you know one thing, success online or in life will call for some sacrifice. You will have to give up the going out on the weekend and the partying. You will have to give up the TV watching and the many other things that stop you from using your time to build your business.

Belding a PBN is simple. Just take it one step at a time.

Buying a domain from a seller - easy
Register and host - easy
Paste in articles - easy
Make menus - easy
Add pictures - easy
301 pages - easy
Add some banners , customize side bar, make a logo - easy .

There is nothing hard in the process , it's just time consuming.


The problem with you is you want the work that you do to reflect your income. So seo is not your style. But just because it's not a fit for you doesn't mean it's dead.

In seo you might have to wait 1-2 months and then you'll start making money.

SEO dead

So I'm going to give some info about my IM SEO journey so far and list the reasons why I am not personally chasing after SEO as a way to make money anymore and what I am getting into. 

First off I started browsing this site back in about 2008. I was 18 and looking for anything that could make money online. I spent hours and hours reading everything I could on BHW never really took much action. I ended up getting really distracted with life as I was going to 2 colleges and working a sales job so there was very little time for SEO. However fastforward 8 years and I have had just about enough of life and the rat race so I returned to the interwebz to try to make it big!

So I will tell you somethings I did in life that were actually pretty cool and I wish panned out before getting back into SEO or I should say starting for real.

- I played Halo competitively. I started with Halo CE and meeting up locally for lans. I played halo CE throughout most of mlg for Halo2 but when Halo 3 came out I was HARDCORE into the MLG screen. I played in the pro circuit for MLG 2008 for halo 3. I made about 30k that year just off of winnings and sponsors not to mention the free hotel room and what not. THAT SHIT WAS BADASS.

Well then mlg dropped halo .. fucking of coarse .. bitches. People want to play pussy ass cod and have a closer skill gap. Halo 2 and Halo 3 already crushed competitve skill cap with these horrid abominations. I wanted Halo CE to be in MLG for so damn long.. never fucking happend. Now that im fucking twenty fucking 6 they code it for online play for xbox one... whoo hoo fuck off... anyways.. it was cool but it died.. h4 and beyond just sucks monkey balls

- I played In the Groove 2 tournaments and make big prizes. In the Groove 2 is a dance game like ddr but allowed custom songs which was fucking badass and had a killer niche community... made about 10k collectively here and there .. then like everything super competitive it died out after shit ass konami sued roxor for copyright.. suck a dick they beat you... anyways..


- I did bodybuilding shows and got some trophies .. whoohooo didn't want to pump myself with the massive loads of shit it takes to go pro so left that for boxing .. which I'm still doing.

- I played Magic the Gathering competitively and placed 4th in the Miami grande pre. Won some $$ basically paid for the trip. Life hit me hard and I couldn't keep up with the cost of the current standard cycles and the time it took to dominate the meta and I had a ton of personal problems going on.


Anyways why I am I telling you all this.. because it matters to why I'm choosing to go the route I am.

So my mom and my grandpa passed away recently and everything just felt like it was falling apart.

I ALWAYS want to be the best at whatever I do. I am EXTREMELY competitive and I wanted to make a living off shit I LOVE. I tried fucking hard and the shit didn't pan out.

So the only thing at this point that really worked for me in life to make money was working a god damn job in sales and hustling fucking hard. I worked so many damn sales jobs and I always make bank but I fucking hate the hustle. I FUCKING HATE IT. But I'm so damn good at it.. blah...

My closest thing to making some real fast good cash that made my life kinda the way I want was when I was flipping cars... thing is you can't do it that long gotta play it safe so when that ended.. here I was left to try to take on the world and what do I pick

Just so you know my goal is to live life on MY TERMS I just want to wake up and do as I fucking want without worrying about food, water , bills , roof. Kinda like when your a kid! lol.

But I don't want to be lazy. I just want the freedom so I can hustle when and how I please and play games and try to be the best AS I FUCKING PLEASE. Work and the system is fucking slavery and I've had e fucking nuff .

I did seo.

I used the tools... got shit up and then it immediately fell.

I tried launch jacking

I read the shit out of so many damn blogs

I tried domain flipping

and much more....

all in all I made about $1000 with shit a month.. not worth the time and not enough to pay bills at all

I kinda tried a blog... but I fucking hate that shit.. I wanted to scrape and spin but seriously let me tell you now. Spun content is fucking garbage and will get you nowhere fast.. I bought the programs they don't do what they promise and it's still copywright infringement.. basically theres no fucking fast easy way to money.

buying articles is a fucking waste of money

THERE IS NO FUCKING EASY MONEY. THERE IS NOT EVEN FUCKING WORKING HARD MONEY TO BE MADE. ( This applies to seo and pretty much everything else)

People do make money with IM and SEO..

They are the ones that actually ENJOY making blogs writing and all that shit.
If you enjoy that shit.. do it .. me on the hand I have already worked so god damn hard I am not trying to hustle it all out writing and making vids and blah blah blah .. fuck

I just want something to fucking work.. it doesn't have to 1 2 3 click money but mother fuck can it at least be like read a lot take a lot of action and make enough to live.. well fucking NOPE .. well maybe.. but mostly FUCKING NOPE.

I started to learn.. the ones that actually making money are the ones who are OFFERING THESE SERVICES and in a nutshell really scamming others if not scamming then they are just really fluffing up shit , polishing the terd's they have and selling the dream of $$$.

When I go in the market place and read the fucking ads here at BHW I want to puke...
No one is going to buy your fucking 5 niche sites and pull in the fucking dough with adsense .. fuck off.

and I don't really want to hustle seo services and sell bullshit to noobs .. I just really don't have an interest for that.

Now I will say the ones making some real good money are those that do local seo and write blogs and what not.. web designers and yada yada

you might want to do that but FUCK really when it comes down to it thats dealing with people and hustling and all that nonsense I can just do in sales and make as much if not more $$ just doing fucking sales

So basically I found out I don't really want to pursue Internet marketing

I want to BEAT the system.

Basically I found that it is reserved for the real hackers if you will.

Those with EXTREMELY intensive knowledge of coding and literally all aspects of life in general.

I am now shifting my focus towards actually CODING these tools. Making them do what I want them to do.

My suggestion to anyone out there looking for easy money with Internet marketing or SEO

FUCK IT. LEARN TO CODE. LEARN TO CODE DAMN GOOD.

The rest will explain itself.

Yes this takes a shit ton of time and dedication but thing is Coding is actually interesting unlike seo and internet marketing and reading about Matt Cutts and google and panda and blah blah blah when all you really want it $$$

So to all those who do make good money and shit with SEO and IM .. more power to you.

You will still see me around and talking about shit and who knows tomorrow I may decide to dive in again with seo but for now I'm going headstrong with coding because thats the future and you better learn everything there is to it or your going to get left behind.
