Quick Update on my journey
5 days have passed since the last post and decided to do a quick update on my journey. In the first webinar, Lewis described succinctly thel business around solo ads and at the same time unveiled some details that made me be sure that the cost per subscriber that I myself was paying could be greatly reduced. Doing the math very quickly, with a conversion of 35%, and pay an average of about 0.35 cents per click, every time you bought a solo ads, I’d be paying $ 1 pr each subscriber, maybe a little less due to overdelivering of about 10% or 15% that solo ads providers always do and also due to some upsells i have made. This way, and how I intend to maximize all the money they have to invest part of this business, I decided to stop buying solo ads and wait for the next steps in the coaching program.
Yesterday, Lewis added coaching studentes to various groups on skype. In these groups are discussed matters related to the business of solo ads and we can find partners and people buying and selling solo ads.
Exacly when i was writing this post, i have seen that webinar 2 will go live this evening so i probably will be back tomorrow or the day after to a new update!

The Solo Ads Business – Update
In the first posts here on the blog, I described solo ads business model and documented my first steps. Since the last post, I attended another of Lewis Turner webinar where he described in more detail some aspects of the business. I also missed another webinar where Lewis described technical aspects of funnel creation but it seems that Lewis will repeat this since live webinar went wrong due to technical problems.
Again, Lewis proposed some homework. We should find click banking partners to deal and we should also create an email adress and submit that email to other people´s funnels. The ideia is to have an email box with a lot of swipe texts to use in the future. Lewis also suggested that we should start with the creation of squeeze pages. I have buyed Optimizepress, i have instaled in my domain and at this moment i am creating some variations of squeeze pages while i wait for next webinar. Other procedures that i will make the next few days will be sign up with ppl programs wich i will talk about latter.

Funnel Done!
In the last update I wrote here, I was working on squeeze page. Optimizepress is a wordpress theme which we can easily create squeeze pages quite attractive in a few minutes. It is also very easy to add the code of aweber and create a thank you / download page. Optimizepress also offers the possibility of creating an exit page, which increases conversions between 5 and 10%. Altogether, in just 1 hour, i created 2 squeeze pages added the code and setup the entire funnel without any other software, theme or plugin and believe me, my technical knowledge is ridiculous! This was a week ago, and after that i was ready to buy solos and see how conversions go.
The First Solo Ads
There are several places where we can find solo ads providers but my favorite place so far has been the SOLO SWAP FB Groupcreated by Lewis Turner. When we buy solo ads, we should take a look in testimonials and reviews from previous customers to be sure we are buying the solo with a reliable guy and this FB Group has lots of testimonials and reviews so we can buy with confidence. In last week, i bought solos to Jack Coxill, Zeid Makkawi, Wayne Smith, Richard Jones and all this guys provide me 50 clicks solos with mass overdelivery. On average my funnel is converting arround 40% which is quite acceptable. With some minor tweaks hopefully increase the conversion rate to around 50% which would be very good.
Banking Clicks
One of the subjects discussed by Lewis Turner in the coaching program was the click banking and the importance of finding partners to bank with. Once i have begun to buy solo ads yet realized the importance of doing click banking. Click banking is a great way to dramatically decrease the cost per subscriber and optimize all the process. The whole ideia of the funnel is about don´t leave clicks in the table.

1000 Subscribers in my List!
Hello all. Almost a month is gone since my last post here. I will promise myself I will not let so much time pass until the next post. My plan is to start writing here at least once a week. Speaking of promises, as I said in the last post, I took care of blog “cosmetics” and would like to hear some opinions. I nkow that there is still some work to do here but it´s better, no? Here is what i have done in the last weeks:
Buyed a tracking software:
As I said in my last post here, it was in my plans to invest in tracking software. At the suggestion of Lewis Turner i bought QCC, software that pleased me, since it allows you to take full advantage of all the traffic that “enters” and “exits” in the funnel and insolo ads itself. The creator of QCC is Jayson Benoit and Lewis invite him to be in a live webinar with Solo Ads Supremacy students showing the big potencial this software has. The software gives really the “control” about all traffic received and sent out and we can really potentiate every single click in and out.
Reach the mark of 1000 subscribers:
More than a “rounded” number 1000 subscribers mark represents an important psychological barrier for those who are still starting at solo ads business. To reach this number i chose to invest some money to buy solo ads with reliable providers . Before i buy, i always try to take a look at the provider past testimonials and SOLO ADS GROUP was important on this. People in the group leave reviews about solo ads they bought itself and this way i can know what to expect when i am buying the solo. In last weeks, i bought solos with Peter Jones, Bob Bastian, Tom Lua, R Dilip Kumar, Ray Spacely, Paul Conway, Towhid Zaman, Brian Douglas, and Dan Daniels and all this guys delivered between 10 and 30% more than promissed. Also doing click banking was important to reach this mark. After i reach the 1000 subscribers mark i am now able to do 50 clicks swaps wich should boost the way my list is growing.
Started the Swaps
In last week i have started doing 50 clicks swaps with other people on solo ads business. This way, for every amount of clicks i send to someone, i receive the exacly same amount in my funnel wich gives me the chance of building my list faster than before when i was only buying solo ads. At this point, i grab a pen and a paper and i start contacting people on SOLO ADS GROUP and in skype rooms to book the swaps. I can say i done some swaps already and i have a lot of others scheduled until the end of the month. I decided not to start selling solo ads yet, i should start selling in a week or two.
Planned my Next Steps
At this moment, my funnel is converting arround 40% wich is not bad but can really be improved. A 5 or 10% improvement makes a big difference in long term, thats why i will invest some time with split testing to try to improve conversions.
Booked my place in the Marketing Summit UK 2013 in Manchester
This was something i was thinking on, since the end of 2012. Be in this event will give me the opportunity to listen closely some of the top marketers. I will also use this to prove to myself that I’m 100% focused in my dot com life

Click banking is basically send clicks to someone (your click banking partner) from somewhere in your funnel ( thank you pages or exit page) or followup and broadcast emails and when we reach the agreed amount your partner send the same amount of clicks back to you. This way we will maximize all the traffic. I can say that click banking turn things much more easy.

Ok, more than a week interval for a new blog post, but 10 days is not bad
here is my new blog post:
Today i just want to give a quick update in my journey and talk a little about the power of swapping and click banking. In my last update i had 1028 subscribers in my list wich means i added more than 300 new subscribers to my list in a space of 10 days. I would like to say that i added this new 300 subscribers to my list without spending a single pen, they came all from swaps and clickbanking. Day after day, i can send even more clicks to my partners wich means i will also receive more clicks back, it´s a really snowball effect!
Swap & Bank
I started the swaps when i reach the 1000 subscribers mark and at the moment i am swapping 30 to 50 clicks, 1 to 3 times a day. At the same time, i am banking clicks with my partners from several places in my funnel and also from links in followup and broadcast emails. By Lewis Turner’s suggestion i started a close cooperation with Isaiah Jackson, a very motivated guy who is also building his list and that is also committed to success. Isaiah is also a Solo Ads Supremacy student. In Lewis words, having accountability partners will force each other to work harder and faster wich i found was really true. The colaboration is about banking clicks each other the hard way we can. By the fact that i am in some way committed with Isaiah makes me be more responsible and to work even harder to deliver him at least the same amount of clicks he send back to me. In some way we have a competition were we both want to be ahead from the other. Dispite the fact that i am banking almost from all “link spots” in my funnel and also in emails i send, i still be able to bank with other click banking partners by the fact that i am using Quality Click Control wich gives me the opportunity to rotate the links. This way, i send Isaiah only unique clicks and if a visitor that already have seen his page click in the link, will be sent to another click banking partner´s link.
This Week Plan
I have already some swaps scheduled for monday and tuesday. On thursday i will fly to Manchester to be in Marketing Summit Uk and i will have less time to be in front of the computer, so my it´s my intention to schedule and set a few more swaps before i go. When i come back, i will start selling my 50 clicks solos!

Marketing Summit UK
Like i told in my last post here, this weekend i have traveled to the UK to attend the Summit Marketing. The Marketing Summit was really great. In the Summit, I had the opportunity to meet and listen adorable and helpful people in some Internet Marketing business models. Were 2 days to absorb really important information given by really important Marketers. At the same time, I had the oportunity to meet my coach and menthor, Lewis Turner, a really nice and helpful guy, wich was something i already knew. The atmosphere was really great, i talked also with other people in different stages of their online careers wich help me to start building a online career plan for myself. For now, the plan is to become consistent with solo ads and after that, follow more 1 or 2 routes. I had the oportunity to talk a bit with Marc Milburn, an amazing Marketer and a really nice guy too, and his coaching program seems the right way to go. I will also started to research about offline business marketing consultancy, a business model i found also interesting after i met Peter Jones.
Update on Solo Ads Business
After the really huge motivation injection i get in Manchester, i arrive to the office today and i started to sell 5o clicks solos. In about 1 hour i sold 3×50 clicks solo ads, wich brings me a nice amount of money, more than $50
Next weeks plan is to sell 1solo ad each day and keep doing the swaps. Probably i will also invest some of this money buying solo ads from other providers to keep building my list everyday. Want to buy me a solo ad?New Blogpost: The “snowball” has money!

In this post i talked about the “snowball effect” generated in my list by doing swaps and bank clicks with partners and at this point, i have to say that like a real “snowball effect” my list is growing even faster and the best is that now begins to generate money! First solo ads sales
In my last post I announced that it would begin selling 50 clicks solo ads at a rate of one per day while i will be also hold a 50 clicks swap per day. Following this plan, I posted some ads on facebook groups, and also on skype rooms and the only thing i can say is that i am very pleased with the results. I posted on Tuesday 12th and also on last weekend and i got 10 sales at $17.50 which totals $ 175 in my paypal account in about 1 week. I would like to reinforce the fact that all these sales were made only on facebook groups and Skype rooms. I do not have even a sales page yet and i have not any prior reputation but the fact is that I sold 10 solo ads, which leads me to conclude that it will be even easier to sell after collecting some testimonials from my clients, build my reputation and create a sales page. I also have seen that most people are looking for at least 100 clicks, so I think it will be even easier still sell once I have the ability to deliver this amount. About half my sales were made in Lewis´s Solo Swap Syndicate wich worth a look.
The “Manchester Effect”
Before i go to Manchester i said here on the blog that go to Manchester would serve to prove myself that I’m 100% focused in my dot com life. I can say that I came back even more motivated, more confident and more willing to continue working. Building a reputation
In the solo ads business, there is a direct interaction between sellers and buyers and as such, it is important that both sellers and buyers create trusts. As such, i really think that it is important to give the best possible service on every sale, take care of all aspects and treating business partners with the utmost respect and loyalty. After each sale, I always try to know the degree of satisfaction of each client and i always try to learn to improve my service, as I believe this is the right way to be in this business. Right now I’m collecting testimonials about my service to build a sales page where it will be shown what people can expect from my services. I am very proud to have been featured on a review on Solo Ad Results, a new blog where the author, a very reliable solo ad provider will review lots of solo ad sellers. List Growing
As I mentioned, I am currently selling a solo ad and make a swap per day. At the same time, I’m reinvest some of that money to buy solo ads from other providers. This week I will enter in a Giveaway event for the experience, and i will be checking things like conversions, clicks, etc. in order to see if it worth to do more in the future. This mean i am also keep building my list, now i have more than 1600 subscribers and want to go ahead even faster.
Next week plan
At the suggestion of my friend and accountability partner Isaiah Jackson i will start define some goals. Next saturday i will fly toMadeira Islands for a week’s vacation with my girlfriend and when i come back, i want to have at least 1850 subscribers in my account. This means i will have to keep selling solos, swap clicks and reinvest some money buying solos from other providers. I will set some swaps before i leave but i will have to work, probably near the pool

Back Home
After a fantastic week’s holiday with my girlfriend, I’m back to work with even higher motivation. As said in the last post here, I was in Madeira Islands, a perfect place to relax, eat, drink and meet very nice people. For a week I felt like i was Anthony Bourdain and i have to say I felt very well in that role. One of the things that motivates me to work and earn money online, it is precisely the ability to travel, to see new places, meet nice people and simply share a good meal and a bottle of wine with people I like. As I like to say, money can not buy happiness but it pays the trips.
The worst part of my vacation was the fact of not having internet access on acceptable conditions. The hotel where I stayed had a weak wireless network and I could only access in some places with very slowly connection. Therefore, I was unable to swap or sell solos so, this was a week to simply forget in my solo ads business. This way, i do not achieve my goal of having 1850 subscribers on my list at the date of my return and i will transfer this goal for the next sunday.
Aweber acount complaints
Yesterday i received an email message from aweber where they say i was having a large number of complaints. Before i went on vacations i was emailing my list 2 to 4 times/day and i received some complaints. After asking some advice on the Solo Swap Syndicate, i decided to email my list only 2 times a day and probably i will also reserve some “rest days” to avoid problems.
The plan for this week
To avoid problems with aweber i´ll have to slow down a bit. I am not sure if i will be able to keep doing one 50 clicks swap and sell 50 clicks each day. So, i will keep selling one 50 clicks solo/day and invest the money buying clicks from other sellers. Like i made before, i will wait for some opportunities to buy my clicks. There are always sellers with discount prices and i will try to save some money.
Collect testimonials
When i started to sell my first solos i always ask for feedback/testimonials from people who buy from me. I will keep collecting this testimonials to build my sales page. I will start working on my sales page to be done when i´ll be ready to deliver 100 clicks.
New Home and new office
Last weekend i moved with my girlfriend and our kids to a new and larger apartment. Now we have better conditions for kids and ourselves. I feel good in the new place and created a new and much better working station where I feel I will definitely focus more on my progression and to quickly reach that $100 days.
It´s now time to focus, i´ll be back on next week, have a good time!

A quick call to boost my solo ads business
One thing that makes the solo ads business very attractive, is the relative ease and rapidity with which it is possible to achieve interesting gains in a short time. Whether you’re a seasoned marketer or a complete newbie, with some money to invest, and with some study, it is possible to achieve in a short time profits of $ 50, $ 100 or even $ 200 a day. These days, there are many people starting and running solo ads business with success. A week ago i take the time to read a success story from Steve Brodsky, a guy who achieved $100/day with in a very short period of time. You can find it here.
Why I am not at $100/day myself?
Well, to be honest, 3 or 4 months ago, when i started on solo ads business i was thinking that at this point i should be already having $100 days wich isn´t happening yet. I could give 1001 reasons and it may seem strange to most people, but the main reason is the lack of confidence in myself at the moment to invest my money, even when I am %100 sure that there will be return. It’s something I’m trying to improve and I hope to release me soon.
Update in my Solo Ads Business
At this moment I do not have much to add beyond what I described in my last post. Due to the notice of the high number of complaints I received from aweber I continue to sell only one 50 clicks solo ad per day and i reinvesting that money buying moresolo ads. So, in recent weeks I felt a bit limited, since my list now grows more slowly than I had planned at this point and I felt I had to do something to change the course and definitely boost my business. That´s the exact point where i receive a skype call from Lewis.

I have already wrote here how much I admire Lewis and how important was his help and encouragement. Last sunday, once again, in a quick skype call, Lewis proved to be a real coach and mentor. After we talked a bit about the point i was in my business, Lewis defined a plan for me and explain me each exactly step i had to make to boost my business. I will not reveal all our conversation but i have to say i am already following the plan, currently at first step that was improving my squeeze page to convert at 50%. Following Lewis´s plan i know i will keep going ahead but this time much more quickly. I´ll come back next week to a quick update.
